John M. Kinback, 68, of Mechanicsburg, passed away at home surrounded by his family on Saturday December 17, 2016.
Born on February 21, 1948 in Harrisburg, he was the son of the late Marshall G. and Mary K. (Wollaston) Kinback.
John was graduate of Susquehanna High School and a US Navy Veteran. He was the owner and President of Callen Kinback, Inc, in Lemoyne. John was a football coach for many years with the Cumberland Valley Midget Football Assoc. He was a Mason at the Perseverance Lodge # 21, a member of the VFW Post 7530 in Mechanicsburg and the American Legion Post 945 in Wormleysburg. John was a Steelers Fan, he enjoyed boating, hunting, fishing, and most of all spending time with his family and friends. He was known for his great sense of Humor.
John is survived by his wife Gloria M. (Knox) Kinback, of Mechanicsburg; a daughter, Danielle M. Kinback, of Mechanicsburg; a son, Sam S. Kinback, of Mechanicsburg; a grandson, Zackary Kinback at home with his mother Karen Dobson, of Mechanicsburg; a sister, Marsha Nettles, of Harrisburg, and several nieces and nephews.
John was preceded in death by his beloved dog and companion Uli.
At John's request a private service will be held for his family and at a later date a service to celebrate his life will be planned.
