Mrs. Joan R. Fagnani of Camp Hill passed away on Wednesday January 14th at
Holy Spirit Hospital. She was born in Windber, PA, the daughter of Joseph and Joan
Thompson. She married her high school sweetheart, Raymond J. Fagnani who
predeceased her in 1974. The couple moved to Camp Hill in 1953 where they raised
their family. Joan was a full time homemaker but still found time to be involved in
church and community affairs. Joan is a former President of the Camp Hill Women's
Club.

She is survived by a son R. Randall with whom she lived and a daughter Karen
J. Rose and her husband Rick of York Haven, PA, and a brother Chaplain Joseph J.
Thompson of Pensacola, FL. Her brother Jack died in 2009. Joan has four
grandchildren, Travis Rose, Nicole Markel, Katie Soleimanpour, and Bradley R.
Fagnani and ten great-grand kids. Funeral services will be Tuesday, January 20th at
1:00 PM in the Myers-Harner Funeral Home, 1903 Market St., Camp Hill, PA. Joan will
be buried next to her husband in St. John's Cemetery, Mechanicsburg.

Memorial donations may be donated in her name to the Camp Hill Presbyterian
Church, 101 N. 23rd St. Camp Hill, PA. 17011. The family wishes to acknowledge the compassionate and professional care of Dr. Howard R. Cohen, MD.
