Jo Ann Smith, 71, of New Cumberland, PA, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, June 26, 2025, at UPMC Mercy Hospital, Pittsburgh, PA.

Born on September 4, 1953, in Baltimore, MD, she was the daughter of the late Earl and Alpha (Weil) Givens.

Jo retired from Macy's Department Store with 20 years of employment. She loved clothing shopping, reading books, crocheting, working on jigsaw puzzles, going on cruises with her beloved husband, and she was a loyal Baltimore Ravens fan. Jo loved the Lord and was an avid Bible reader.

Jo is survived by her loving husband of 18 years, Richard "Rick" Smith, of New Cumberland, PA, a daughter, Chrissy E. Schwebach and her husband Ray, of El Dorado, OH, who blessed Jo with five grandchildren and nineteen great-grandchildren, a son, Sam Falise Jr. and his wife Holly, West York, PA, four sisters, Jeannie Cobaugh and her husband Don, of Sykesville, MD, Patricia Givens, of Hampstead, MD, Earlene Onheiser and her husband, Paul of Westminster, MD, Susan Alascia and her husband Michael, of Westminster, MD, and a brother, Robert Givens and his wife Jewel, of Emmitsburg, MD.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 P.M. on Thursday, July 3, 2025, in the Myers-Baker Funeral Home, 1903 Market St., Camp Hill, PA. A viewing will be held in the funeral home on Thursday, from 12:00 P.M. until the time of the service. Burial will be held following the service in Rolling Green Cemetery, Camp Hill, PA.
