Jerry Lee Harmon, Sr., 67, of New Oxford, passed away on Thursday October 13, 2016 at his home. Born on September 22, 1949 in Commiskey, IN, he was the son of Helen (Green) Harmon, of Mechanicsburg, and the late Alvin B. Harmon. He was a US Coast Guard Veteran, and a member of the Eagles Club in Gettysburg. Jerry was retired from McDermitt Inc., where he was the plant manager in Hanover. Jerry is survived by a daughter, Wendy S. Watts, of Gardners; three sons, Alan R. Beaver, Jr., of Perry Hall, MD; Jerry L. Harmon, Jr., of Harrisburg, and Brian E. Harmon, of Newport. A brother, Dennis Harmon, of Carlisle, and a sister, Judy Spangler, of Mechanicsburg. Four grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a brother, Wayne Harmon. A visitation with Jerry's family will be held from 6:00 P.M. – 8:00 P.M. on Tuesday October 18, 2016 in the Myers-Harner Funeral Home, 1903 Market St., Camp Hill. A memorial service will be held following the visitation at 8:00 P.M. with Pastor Gary Bruland officiating.
