Jean B. Deissler, 89, formerly of Camp Hill, passed away peacefully on October 9, 2015, in Cranberry Township, PA. Born July 17, 1926, to the late Guy E. and Mildred L. Beatty. She was preceded in death by her husband Norman E. Deissler to whom she was married for 61 years, a sister Marian Crutchfield, a brother Guy E. Beatty, Jr., and son-in-law John J. Adams, D.M.D. She graduated from George Washington High School in Danville, VA, and Thompson Business College in Harrisburg where she met her husband. She was employed as a legal secretary before joining the family business, Deissler's Flowers and Greenery. Cherished mother to two daughters, Jeanne Adams of Greensburg, PA, Suzan Cartwright and her husband Eric of Pittsburgh, PA, and a son Ned Deissler, Jr., and his wife Melissa of Camp Hill; grandchildren Jeff Adams of Pittsburgh, PA; Amy Adams Cutlip, her husband Chris, and their children Cooper and Avery of Dayton, OH; Megan Cartwright Voll, her husband Eric, and their children Ethan and Abbey of Pittsburgh, PA; Steven Cartwright and his wife Tona of Washington, DC. In honoring Jean's request, services were private. The family is suggesting memorial contributions may be made to their local Humane Society, in memory of Jean B. Deissler.
