Jarrett Mitchell Dorn came into this world and into our hearts on April 27, 2000. On Friday, September 11, 2026, Jarrett was welcomed into Heaven by his maternal grandparents, Patricia and Gene Kolesar; his paternal grandmother, Laura Long; his Pappy Everett; his uncles, George Dorn and Steve Long; his aunt, Sheri Shields; and his beloved cat, Lucky, whom he loved with his whole heart. To know Jarrett was a blessing. He was a sweet, thoughtful, and determined young man who cared deeply for his family and always wanted the very best for those he loved. He appreciated the finer things in life, had a distinctive sense of style, and knew how to carry himself with pride while remaining humble.

As a child, Jarrett was an avid skateboarder. He played baseball, soccer, hockey, and football. He also had a lifelong passion for cars, which began with his Matchbox collection. The Dodge Challenger remained a favorite throughout his life. He especially loved Mopars and looked forward to attending the Mopar show with his dad, Ted, every year. Recently, Jarrett purchased his first vehicle completely on his own, an accomplishment that filled him and his parents with pride. Jarrett and his dad made countless special memories together. They went swimming, spent time at camp, hunted together from the deer stand, and went crabbing in Baltimore. On a fishing trip in South Carolina, Jarrett even caught a stingray. They also shared a love of sports and enjoyed cheering together for the Eagles and all of the Philadelphia teams. Jarrett and his mom, Jennifer, shared a love of travel and experiences both big and small. They made special memories together in Myrtle Beach, and she took him to Miami, the one place he most wanted to visit. They also treasured a trip to New York City, where they saw Wicked on Broadway and dined at one of the city’s renowned steakhouses. Some of their most meaningful moments were also the simplest: trying different ice cream places and quietly watching the deer and birds together. Jarrett shared an exceptionally close bond with his big brother, Dylan. Their relationship was built on a lifetime of shared experiences, loyalty, laughter, and love. More than brothers, they were true companions. He also treasured his longtime friendship with Diego Torres and especially enjoyed going to the shooting range with him.

Jarrett had an entrepreneurial spirit and was in the early stages of building his own business, JCeez Jewelry & Watches. The business reflected his determination, entrepreneurial spirit, and his exquisite taste. He enjoyed music, visiting casinos, and playing Call of Duty, his favorite video game. His favorite television show was The Wire, and his favorite movie was The Wolf of Wall Street. Blue was his favorite color, and Christmas was his favorite holiday. For Jarrett, it always had to include a real Christmas tree. He also had a special appreciation for homemade food, tacos, and Smucker’s Uncrustables.

Above all, Jarrett was a beloved son, brother, grandson, nephew, cousin, and friend. He will be remembered for his kind heart, his thoughtfulness, his determination, and the love he gave to those closest to him. Jarrett is survived by his mother, Jennifer Dorn; his father, Ted Dorn, and Ted’s fiancée, Karen; his big brother, Dylan Dorn; his grandparents, Ted Dorn Sr. and Betty; his aunts, Teri Leemon, Deb Kolesar Naylor, and Diana Dorn; and Jennifer’s longtime best friend, Amy Riggle-Gentzyel, whom Jarrett lovingly knew as “Aunt Amy.” Jarrett’s smile, his heart, and his presence will be missed beyond words. He was deeply loved and will remain forever in our hearts, until we meet again.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM on Thursday, September 17, 2026, in the Myers-Baker Funeral Home, 1903 Market Street, Camp Hill, PA 17011. A viewing will be held in the funeral home on Thursday, from 1:00 PM until the start of the service. Interment will be private and held at the convenience of the family.
