Janet Long, 91, of Camp Hill, passed away on Wednesday September 20, 2017 at Messiah Lifeways, Mechanicsburg.
Born on May 5, 1926 in Carlisle, she was the daughter of the late John E. and Jennie R. (Worley) Gusler.
Janet was a 1945 graduate of Carlisle High School. She was retired from Quaker Oats where she was a secretary. She had also worked for Kinney Shoe, United Telephone, Valk Manufacturing, and the West Shore Country Club. Janet is a member of the Camp Hill United Methodist Church and participated in the church's Deborah Circle. She was also a charter member of Cumberland County Farm Women's Group # 13. She was a previous member of the Camp Hill Women's Club.
Janet is survived by two daughters, Susan, of Duncannon, and Sharon, of Camp Hill; and twenty-eight nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by four brothers, J. Edward, Richard, and Harry Gusler, and Bob Holtzman; five sisters, Mary Witmer (Bob), Grace Swartz (Elden), Pearl May (Earl), Betty Hooper (Jack), and Ada Sheriff (Wayne).
