Ingeborg M. DeTemple, 80, of Camp Hill, passed away on Sunday January 8, 2017 at ManorCare Health Services, Camp Hill. Born on February 19, 1936 in Vöhringen, Germany, she was the daughter of the late Johann and Klara (Scharpf) Buc̈hl, and she was the widow of William P. DeTemple. Ingeborg was a longtime member of Christ Community Church in Camp Hill. She was very active in the church food bank, children's nursery, and widows club. She loved spending time gardening and shopping. She loved to be with her family and had a great love for animals. She is survived by two sons, William H. DeTemple, of Camp Hill; Michael A. DeTemple and his wife Maria, of New Cumberland; one daughter, JoAnn S. Magaro and her husband Samuel J., of Oberlin; a daughter-in-law, Kathleen DeTemple, five grandchildren, Crystal, Elizabeth, Marikaye, Michael, and Samantha; and six great grandchildren, Kaydenc, Lorelei, Finnley, Davionn, Seth, and Lucas. In addition to her husband she was preceded in death by a son, David L. DeTemple. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Friday January 13, 2017 at Christ Community Church, 1201 Slate Hill Rd., Camp Hill, PA 17011, with Rev. Steve Boyer officiating. A visitation with the family will be held in the church on Friday from 9:00 A.M. until the time of the service. Burial will be held following the service in Rolling Green Cemetery, Camp Hill. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Christ Community Church.
