Howard L. Floyd, Jr., 79, of Bethlehem, PA, passed away on Tuesday March 7, 2017 at Harrisburg Hospital.
Born on May 5, 1937 in Albany, NY, he was the son of the late Howard L. and Violet (Nicolas) Floyd.
Howard was a graduate of Holy Spirit High School, Bethlehem, PA, and was a Retired Drafter for Bethlehem Steel with 33 years of service. He enjoyed woodworking and making toys for his grandchildren. He also loved to spend time hunting and fishing.
Howard is survived by two daughters, Sage Hayes and her husband David, of Dillsburg, PA, and Laura Halleran, of Harrisburg, PA. Two brothers, Robert Floyd and his wife Gloria and Edward Floyd and his wife Paula, all of Pennsylvania. One sister, Barbara Lindenmuth and her husband George, of Bethlehem. Three grandchildren, Joshua Stout, of Bath, PA; Jaclyn Morris and her husband Matthew, of Shippensburg, PA; and Evan Halleran, of Orange, MO. Five great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Lillian (Miller) Floyd.
A memorial service will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Monday March 13, 2017 in the Myers-Harner Funeral Home, 1903 Market St. Camp Hill, PA. Burial will be private and handled at the convenience of the family.
