Obituary

Helen C. Hilbish, 90, of Mechanicsburg, passed away on Monday April 7, 2014 at the Masonic Village, Elizabethtown.
Born on June 22, 1923 in Lemoyne, she was the daughter of the late Harry and Catherine (Bixler) Erb and she was the widow of Kenneth C. Hilbish.
Helen was retired from Bell Telephone, Harrisburg. She had also worked in food service at Wormleysburg Elementary School. She enjoyed golfing and was a member of both Range End and Armitage Golf Courses. She was a member of the Calvary United Methodist Church in Lemoyne for over 60 years.
She is survived by two daughters, Patricia A. Hinkle and her husband Joseph, of Camp Hill; and Annetta M. McKillips and her husband Harry, of Mt. Joy, PA; five grandchildren, six great grandchildren, and two step great grandchildren.
In addition to her husband she was preceded in death by four sisters, Clara Kauffman, Annabel Heiges, Evelyn "Becky" Tritt, and Dorothy Shatto; one brother, Kenneth Erb.
A graveside service will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Saturday April 12, 2014 in the Chapel of Peace, located on the grounds of Rolling Green Cemetery, 1811 Carlisle Rd., Camp Hill.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Calvary United Methodist Church, 700 Market St., Lemoyne, PA 17043 or the Masonic Village, 1 Masonic Dr., Elizabethtown, PA 17022, or Shiremanstown United Methodist Church, 125 E. Main St., Shiremanstown, PA 17011.
