Haydn Fry was a man of quiet strength, steady presence, and deep, unwavering care for the people in his life. He never needed to be the loudest in the room to be understood. Instead, he listened, observed, and showed up in ways that mattered. It would be impossible to fully capture who he was in a few short paragraphs, but he would likely appreciate the attempt anyway.

A man of few words, Haydn had a natural ability to understand people. He often described himself as the steady calm to his wife's more outgoing energy, a balance that shaped the way they moved through life together. With both humor and affection, he regularly referred to his wife, Colleen, as his "emotional support golden retriever," a reflection of her warmth and ability to draw people in. It was something he quietly loved, as someone who never stopped being curious about others and their stories.

Haydn Fry, 35, a devoted husband, loving father, loving son, caring brother, and steadfast friend, passed on April 7, 2026 after a brief and extraordinarily courageous battle with an extremely rare cancer. From the very beginning of his life, Haydn defied the odds placed before him, never allowing limitations to define what his life could be. Time and again, he met each challenge with resilience, faith, and a quiet determination that became a hallmark of the way he lived. That same dedication carried him to becoming a 3rd degree black belt in Tae Kwon Do, a reflection of both his discipline and inner strength.

An Eagle Scout, Haydn embodied a lifelong commitment to service, integrity, and quiet leadership. The values he earned through scouting were not left in his youth, but became the way he moved through the world as a man, a husband, a father, and a friend. He led not with volume, but with consistency, humility, and action. It was a part of himself he carried with pride, and one he intentionally passed on to his daughter, Lilliya, sharing with her a love for the outdoors, a sense of responsibility, and a deep care for others.

Haydn was a lifelong learner with a deep and imaginative inner world. He graduated from Milton Area High School, where he was a member of the golf team, and went on to attend Wilkes University, earning a degree in psychology with a minor in neuroscience. He later continued his education at Penn State Harrisburg, where he earned his master's degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, a field that reflected his natural ability to understand and support others.

Among his hobbies, Haydn loved reading, especially high fantasy, where his rich imagination could fully roam. He was an avid World of Warcraft player, where he built friendships that lasted a lifetime. In the last few years, he found a new joy in playing Dungeons and Dragons, gathering every Friday evening he could with his friend and neighbor. It quickly became something he truly loved, often coming home with stories of the night's adventures, full of humor and excitement that he carried quietly but deeply.

As a young man, Haydn explored the world with both curiosity and intention. He took guitar lessons in middle school, developing an appreciation for music that stayed with him, and worked at a local pizza shop during high school, where his work ethic and reliability began to take shape. Even then, his character revealed itself in meaningful ways. Half of any money he earned or received as gifts was carefully placed into savings, while the rest was used with purpose. Each year, he participated in a Christmas Club through the bank, setting aside money specifically to purchase gifts for those less fortunate. Helping others was never an afterthought for Haydn. It was something he believed in deeply and practiced quietly, without the need for recognition

In his professional life, Haydn found a place where his steady presence and thoughtful nature could make a lasting impact. He was incredibly proud of his work at OrgVue, where he contributed in ways that reached far beyond what could be measured. He cared deeply about the people he worked with and the work itself, and he took pride in knowing that what he did mattered. Those who had the privilege of working alongside him felt that impact in both big and small ways.

Haydn is survived by his loving wife, Colleen (Chadwick) Fry; his daughter, Lilliya Fry; and his son, Harrison Fry, who were the center of his world. He is also survived by his parents, Kevin and Karen Fry; his brother, Sloan Fry, and sister-in-law, Elyssa (Yanik) Fry; and his nephew, Sterling Fry. He was deeply loved as a son and brother, and his presence within his family was steady, grounding, and full of quiet care. He is also survived by his parents-in-law, Stephen and Laurie Chadwick, as well as Colleen's large extended family, too many to name but never distant in love. He is also lovingly remembered by extended family and many dear friends.

A memorial service will be held Friday, April 24, 2026 at 3:00 PM in the Trinity Lutheran Church, 2000 Chestnut St, Camp Hill, PA 17011 with Pastor Jack Horner officiating. A visitation will be held from 1:00 PM until the time of the service. Myers-Baker Funeral & Cremation Services, Inc. has been entrused with funeral arrangements.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the PPB/DICER1 Registry through Children's Hospital of Minnesota. In doing so, Haydn's legacy of helping others will continue, reaching far beyond what we can see and offering hope to families walking a similar path.

His story does not end here, but continues on in the hearts of those who love him, in the life he built, and in the quiet, steady way he will always be with us.
