Harry P. Snider, 95, of Camp Hill, passed away, Sunday, December 31, 2017, at the West Shore Hospital, surrounded by his loving family.
Harry was born on September 1, 1922, in Chicago, IL., to the late Howard W. and Thelma M. Snider. A naval veteran of WWII, Harry served as an Electronics Technician Mate First Class aboard the USS Fremont in the South Pacific. After the War Harry was employed as a Salesman for United Shoe Machinery of Harrisburg and then later American Shoe Machinery.
Harry is survived by his wife of over 66 years, Florence Shirley Snider; his son, Jeffrey Snider and wife Diane; his two daughters, Karen Sallavanti and companion Mark Carley, and Patricia Snider and husband Darin Cox. Four grandchildren Sarah, Kathryn, Jordan and Erika, and great-granddaughter Genevieve.
A memorial service is being planned by the family and will be held at a later date.
