Harold "Bud" W. Crump, 73, of Mechanicsburg, passed away on Sunday April 30, 2017 at his home.
Born on January 18, 1944 in Blytheville, AR, he was the son of the late James L. and Mary L. (Pitts) Crump.
Bud was a US Navy Veteran who served in the Vietnam war. He was a graduate of Arkansas State University and went on to received his master's in engineering from Temple University. Bud was a retried Chemist with Sunoco. He had also worked part-time for Home Depot. Bud loved to play golf and was known for his great sense of humor.
He is survived by two sons, Stephen R. Crump and his wife Sandra K., of Mechanicsburg; and Richard A. Crump and his wife Erin B., of Reading; three grandchildren, Jonathan Crump and Tiffany Crump, of Mechanicsburg and Matthew Crump, of Reading.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by two sisters, Juanita Fisher and Bernice Menutes.
Funeral services will be held at 8:30 A.M. on Friday May 5, 2017 in the Myers-Harner Funeral Home, 1903 Market St., Camp Hill, PA. A viewing will be held in the funeral home from 7:30 A.M. until the time of the service. Burial will be held with military honors, immediately following the service in Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville.
