H. Pat Carl, 84, of Camp Hill, passed away on Tuesday January 3, 2017, at her home. Born on August 19, 1932 in Kittanning, PA, she was the daughter of the late William T. and Helen (Heilman) Metzger, and she was the widow of Edward J. Carl. In addition to her husband she was preceded in death by two brothers, William and Richard "Dick" Metzger. Pat was a graduate of Bishop McDevitt High School, formerly Harrisburg Catholic. Prior to retirement she worked in Sales for a Cemetery Business. She was a member of the Church of the Good Shepherd, and a former member of the Pro-Life Team. Pat loved spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She is survived by two sons, Edward W. Carl and his wife Janice, of Ashburn, VA; Daniel Carl and his wife Lyn, of Mechanicsburg; four daughters, Cindy Rittel and her husband Barry, of Mechanicsburg; Mary Speca and her husband Dan, of Mechanicsburg; Margaret Paredes and her husband Patricio, of Mechanicsburg; and Kitty Kuntz and her husband Fran, of Camp Hill; seventeen grandchildren and four great grandchildren. A mass of Christian burial will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Friday January 6, 2017 in the Church of the Good Shepherd, 3435 E. Trindle Rd., Camp Hill, PA 17011, with Rev. Philip Burger as Celebrant. Burial will be held following the Mass in Rolling Green Cemetery, Camp Hill. In lieu of flowers, at Pat's request, a memorial contribution may be made to the Church of the Good Shepherd Parish.
