Gretchen W. Snyder, 62, of Mechanicsburg, PA, passed away on Saturday, January 17, 2026, at her residence with family by her side.

She was born June 3, 1963, in Latrobe, PA, the daughter of Kathleen (Fenton) Wittenmaier and the late Alfred Wittenmaier. She married David L. Snyder; he survives.

She was a graduate of Latrobe High School and graduated in 1985 from Thiel College in Greenville, PA. She was a member of Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church in Camp Hill. Gretchen enjoyed gardening and flowers and loved spending time with her children and grandchildren.

Gretchen is survived by her husband David L. Snyder, three daughters Emily DePalma and her husband Brett of Mechanicsburg, PA, Rachel Kern and her husband Brody of New Cumberland, PA, and Olivia Snyder of Mechanicsburg, PA; a son Kevin Snyder and his wife Sarah Beth of Peninsula, Ohio; four grandchildren Brynn DePalma, Reese Kern, Logan Snyder and Knox Kern; her mother Kathleen Wittenmaier of Latrobe and her brother Eric Wittenmaier of Latrobe.

A viewing will be held on Monday, January 26, 2026, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and again on Tuesday, January 27, 2026, from 10:00 A.M. until the funeral service at 11:00 A.M. in the Myers-Baker Funeral Home, 1903 Market Street, Camp Hill PA 17011.

Burial will take place in Rolling Green Cemetery, Camp Hill, PA 17011.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggest memorial contributions in Gretchen's name to the Kidney Foundation of Central Pennsylvania, 900 S. Arlington Avenue, Suite 134A, Harrisburg, PA 17109, or to Hospice of Central Pennsylvania, 1320 Linglestown Road, Harrisburg, PA 17110.
