George J. Martinaitis , Jr, 74, of Camp Hill, PA, and formerly of New Philadelphia, PA, passed away on Saturday, January 10, 2026, at Harmony at West Shore, Mechanicsburg, PA.
Born on March 21, 1951, in Pottsville, PA, he was the son of the late George J. and Irene (Hoffman) Martinaitis.
George was a 1969 graduate of Nativity BVM High School, Pottsville, PA, he went on to receive his bachelor's degree in economics from Kutztown University. George was a retired financial systems analyst with Naval Support Activity in Mechanicsburg, PA. He was a member of the Church of the Good Shepherd in Camp Hill, PA. George enjoyed spending time fishing, both freshwater fishing and saltwater fishing.
He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Kathleen (Sabados) Martinaitis, of Camp Hill, PA, and a brother, Gary Martinaitis and his wife Dorothy, of New Philadelphia, PA.
He was preceded in death by his sister, Janet Martinaitis.
Mass of Christian burial will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Friday, January 16, 2026, in the Church of the Good Shepherd, 3435 Trindle Rd., Camp Hill, PA, with Rev. Neil S. Sullivan as Celebrant. A visitation will be held in the church on Friday from 10:00 A.M. until the time of the Mass. A graveside service will be held at 1:00 P.M. on Monday, January 19th at Immaculate Conception Cemetery, St. Clair, PA. Myers-Baker Funeral & Cremation Services, Camp Hill, has been entrusted with funeral arrangements.
