Obituary

Franklin E. Warfel, 85, of Camp Hill, passed away on Monday November 20, 2017 at Holy Spirit Hospital, Camp Hill.
Born on February 26, 1932 in Harrisburg, he was the son of the late Edgar C. and Etta E. (McNeil) Warfel.
Franklin was a graduate of John Harris High School. He worked as a service technician for Plumbers & Pipefitters UA Local 520. During his career he worked for Honeywell and went on to retire from Carrier United Technologies. He was a member of the American Legion Post 239, Williamstown, and also was a member of the Moose Lodge 410, Middletown. Franklin was a loving Husband, Father, and Grandfather.
He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Florence S. (Bopp) Warfel, of Camp Hill; a son, Mark E. Warfel, of New Cumberland; two daughters, Nancy M. Olweiler and her husband Jacob, of Elizabethtown, and Barbara A. Clark, of Mechanicsburg; six grandchildren, eighteen great grandchildren, and one great-great grandchild.
He was preceded in death by his two sisters, Phyllis E. Wade and her husband Laurence, and Vyonne W. Stephenson, and her husband Glen
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Saturday December 2, 2017 in the Myers-Harner Funeral Home, 1903 Market St., Camp Hill. A viewing will be held in the funeral home on Saturday from 10:00 A.M. until the time of the service. Burial will be held following the service in St. John's Cemetery, Mechanicsburg.
