Ellen M. Jacobi passed away on August 21, 2015 in Lancaster County, PA at the age of 100. After a private service, she will be interred in Rolling Green Memorial Park in Camp Hill, PA beside her beloved husband, Walter M Jacobi. Known to family and friends as "Squidge", she was born March 12, 1915 in Muskogee OK to the late Dr. and Mrs. C.M. Fullenwider. She graduated from the University of Oklahoma in 1936 and earned her master's degree in Mathematics from Bucknell University in 1962. Ellen moved to Harrisburg, PA with her first husband, Wallace Thomas, in 1942. She lived in Harrisburg and Camp Hill for the next 37 years. She taught math for 20 years in the Camp Hill and Mechanicsburg school districts and was a Professor of Mathematics at the Harrisburg Area Community College. She retired at the end of 1979 and moved to Stuart, Florida with her second husband, Walter. M. Jacobi who predeceased her in 1989. She was an avid golfer, gardener, reader, bridge player, bird watcher and traveler. Because of declining health, Ellen returned to Pennsylvania in 2009 to be close to family. Her last years she was a resident of Friendship Place at Oak Leaf Manor, a memory care facility in Landisville, PA. Ellen is survived by her four daughters, Lou (Frank) Dolman, of Steamboat Springs, CO; Polly Thomas (Miguel) de Cruz of Monrovia, CA; Nancy (Glenn) Schwartz of Lancaster, PA; and Jane (George) Elliston of Melbourne AUS. She is also survived by Walter's son Tom (Debbie) of Kingston, NY; his three daughters, Judy Ringo of Long Beach, IN; Linda (Jerry) Duffie of Mechanicsburg; and Nancy (Bruce) Bigelow of Camp Hill. In addition she leaves nineteen grandchildren and thirty one great grand children. Her brother Dr. C.G. Fullenwider continues to live in Muskogee OK. She is also survived by his children Dr. C. B. (Susan) Fullenwider of Muskogee and Kathy (Michael) Moser of Atlanta, GA. Ellen was predeceased by her sister Nancy Lou Fullenwider of Muskogee. She touched many lives and was loved by all who were lucky enough to have known her.
