Dorothy "Dottie" C. Smith, 87 of Mechanicsburg, passed away on Wednesday July 9, 2014 at Manor Care Health Services, Camp Hill.
Born on December 8, 1926 in Bethlehem, PA she was the daughter of the late Harvey Huber and the late Mabel Yocum.
Dottie enjoyed spending her free time reading. Her favorite book was "Stands a Calder Man." She also enjoyed taking bus trips to Atlantic City. She was a member of the American Legion # 109, and was known for her feisty personality.
Dottie is survived by her three daughters, Sally Kelly and her husband Brian of Bradenton, FL; Paula Harmony and her husband Jeff of Breinigsville, PA; and Rosemary Viscusi and her husband David of Oceanside, CA. A sister, Helen DeAngelis of Bethlehem, PA; nine grandchildren, twenty three great grandchildren; and a close friend, Brenda Anderson-Eckert of Enola.
She was preceded in death by her son, Charles R.D. Smith; a sister, Grace Baggest; and a brother, Kenneth Huber.
Funeral services will be private and burial will be held at the convenience of the family in Rolling Green Memorial Park, Camp Hill.
