Obituary

Doreen Rovito, 74, of Camp Hill, passed away on Sunday May 19, 2019 at her home, after a brief battle with pancreatic cancer.
Born on November 18, 1944 in Harrisburg, she was the daughter of the late Paul and Diana (Vajdic) Hoke, and she was the widow of Howard L. "Vito" Rovito.
Doreen was a graduate of Bishop McDevitt High School. She was retired from PMSLIC where she was a claims examiner. Doreen was currently a secretary for the Good Shepherd Catholic School and the Church of the Good Shepherd, both in Camp Hill. She was also a longtime member of the church. Doreen's life represented family and she was never happier then when she was surrounded by them. Those that were lucky enough to know Doreen would say that she was an angel here on earth.

Rovito-Bridge and her husband Doug, of Mechanicsburg; a son-in-law, Brian Newman, of Dillsburg; a brother, Ronald Hoke and his wife Debbie, of South Carolina; a sister-in-law, Annette Rovito and her spouse Lexi Johns, of Baltimore, MD; four grandchildren, Sydney and Nikolas Newman, and Carissa M. and Caitlyn A. Rovito, all of Camp Hill.
In addition to her husband she was preceded in death by a sister, Dawn M. Farling.
A mass of Christian burial will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Thursday May 23, 2019 in the Church of the Good Shepherd, 3435 E. Trindle Rd., Camp Hill, PA, 17011, with Rev. Philip G. Burger as Celebrant. A viewing will be held in the church on Thursday from 9:30 A.M. until the time of the mass. Burial will be held following the mass at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Mechanicsburg.
