Donna Lynn Baer, 66, of Etters, PA, passed away on Saturday, February 14, 2026, at her brother-in-law's home in Etters, PA.

Born on October 20, 1959, in Carlisle, PA, she was the daughter of the late John T. and Margaret A. (Heller) Ward.

Donna was a 1978 graduate of Red Land High School. She loved to work outdoors, planting, gardening and landscaping. She attended the Bowmansdale Church of God, Mechanicsburg, and she also attended the Camp Hill Church of God with her mother and stepfather. When she wasn't working in her garden or landscaping, she enjoyed creating diamond art.

She is survived by her son, Shaun Baer and his wife Brooke, of Mifflintown, PA, a daughter, Mandy Dinges and her husband Ronald, of York Haven, PA, two sisters, Dian Strohecker, of Mechanicsburg, PA, and Margaret Still, of Carlisle, PA, a brother-in-law, Robert Derrickson, of Etters, nine grandsons, six granddaughters, seven great-grandchildren, and her children's father, Anthony "Tony" Baer, of Mifflintown, PA.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her stepfather, Clifford Smith, a brother, John Ward, and a sister, Loyette Derrickson.

A graveside service will be held at 1:30 P.M. on Thursday, February 19, 2026, in Cumberland Valley Memorial Gardens, 1921 Ritner Hwy, Carlisle, PA 17013, with Pastor Jason Cooksey officiating. All who plan to attend the services are asked to please meet directly at the cemetery.
