Donna B. Amig, 86, of Mechanicsburg, passed away on Wednesday January 1, 2014 at Holy Spirit Hospital, Camp Hill. Born on June 18, 1927 in Lewistown, she was the daughter of the late Oliver M. and Dora I. (Hale) Benson and and she was the widow of John C. Amig, III. She was retired from Hampden Twp. Municipality and was a former member of the Red Hat Society. She was also an avid reader. Donna is survived by her daughter, Ava Hobbs and her husband John, of Ohio; two grandsons, Joseph Stoner, of Arizona; and Michael Stoner and his wife Jen, of Mechanicsburg; one granddaughter, Jennifer Kain and her husband Mike, of Harrisburg; several great grandchildren, and her close friend, Donna Wood, of Mechanicsburg. In addition to her husband she was preceded in death by her son, John C. Amig, IV; and her brother, George Benson. All funeral services will be private and burial will be held at the convenience of the family in Mechanicsburg Cemetery, Mechanicsburg.
