Obituary

Donald H. Singer, Sr., of Spring City, PA and formerly of Enola, passed away on Saturday, July 19, 2025, at the Phoenixville Hospital.

He was born February 11, 1943, in Harrisburg, PA, the son of the late Roy M. Singer Sr. and Carrie R. (Lilly) Singer. He was married to Betty J. (Bamberger) Singer.

Donald attended East Pennsboro High School and LaSalle University. He retired from the United States Army after 28 years of service. He then went on to serve 24 years as a patrolman for the city of Harrisburg Police Department.

He had attended the Enola Church of God and loved reading his Bible. He was a member of the Capital City Lodge, the PA Association of Retired Police Officers, the American Legion Post 0272, Linglestown, PA and a member of the Masons. He especially enjoyed hunting and fishing, playing chess, working on cars and tanks, hiking, playing bingo, and putting puzzles together.

He is survived by his wife, Betty J. Singer; four children, Donald Singer, Jr. and his wife Rebecca, Betty Good and her husband Roy, John Singer and his wife Ashley, and Paul Singer and his wife Amanda, five grandchildren Erica, Shawn, Meghan, Tyler, and Grace, two brothers Roy Singer and Earnest Singer.

In addition to his parents, Donald was preceded in death by a brother Samuel Singer and two sisters Annabelle Hauenstein and Carrie Stevens.

A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, July 30, 2025, at 11:00 AM in the Myers-Baker Funeral Home, 1903 Market Street, Camp Hill, PA 17011. The viewing will be held from 10:00 AM until the time of the service.

Burial will be private in the Rolling Green Cemetery, Camp Hill, PA 17011

Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the Myers-Baker Funeral Home, 1903 Market Street, Camp Hill, PA 17011.
