Dolores B. Preston, 82, of Mechanicsburg, passed away on Monday December 19, 2016 in the Claremont Nursing & Rehab facility, Carlisle.
Born on June 20, 1934 in Lewistown, PA she was the daughter of the late James and Flo (Kempfer) Boyle. Dolores was the widow of Edward W. Preston.
After raising her children, Dolores worked for many years as a teacher's aide at a private school as well as worked in the cafeteria at the Camp Hill School. Dolores kept her faith in the lord throughout her life and was a member of the Camp Hill United Methodist Church.
In addition to her husband Dolores was also preceded in death by three children, Dean E., James W., and Amy Ann. Preston.
Surviving are her sons Edward W. Preston, wife Lisa and children Wilson and Amanda, of Mechanicsburg, and Andrew P. Preston wife Allyson and children Nathan J. and Madelyn A, of Camp Hill. Daughter-in-law Marsheelah Preston, and grandson Edward A. Preston, his wife Walki and children Nicholas and Emma May.
A graveside service will be held on Thursday, December 22, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Peace located on the grounds of Rolling Green Cemetery, 1811 Carlisle Rd. Camp Hill, PA.
In lieu of flowers the family has requested donations be made to the American Diabetes Association, P.O. Box 11454, Alexandria, VA 22312, orthe Disabled American Veterans, 4219 E. Trindle Rd, Camp Hill, PA 17011.
