With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of our beloved mother, grandmother, wife, and friend, Dixie Lee Neidigh, who peacefully entered into the arms of Jesus on May 28, 2026 at the age of 82.

Born on November 17, 1943 in Bluefield, West Virginia, Dixie lived a life rooted in faith, love, compassion, and service to others. She was a devoted follower of Christ whose kindness and generosity touched everyone who knew her. Her faith guided the way she loved her family, cared for her community, and welcomed others into her life.

Dixie was the cherished wife of Robert Neidigh and a loving mother to her three daughters, Alice Anderson-Gilmore (Patrick), Sunny Goodyear (John) and Amy Zilka (David). She was a proud and devoted grandmother to nine grandchildren and three great-grandchildren, all of whom brought immense joy to her life.

A gifted master seamstress and entrepreneur, Dixie owned and operated her own sewing and home décor business, where she shared her creativity and talent with countless customers and friends over the years. Her hands created beautiful things, but even more beautiful was the love she stitched into the lives of those around her.

She deeply loved her church family, neighbors, and community. Her life reflected Christ's compassion as she faithfully cared for widows, orphans, prisoners, and anyone in need of comfort or encouragement. She had a servant's heart and gave freely of her time, prayers, and love.

Dixie will be remembered for her unwavering faith, gentle spirit, warm hospitality, and the way she made everyone feel like family. Though our hearts are broken, we rejoice knowing she is now at peace in the presence of her Savior.

She is survived by her husband, Robert Neidigh; her three daughters; her nine grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and many extended family members, dear friends, neighbors, and church family who will forever cherish her memory.

A memorial service celebrating her life will be held on July 12, 2026, at 2:00 pm at Daybreak Church-South Campus, 321 Gettysburg Pike, Mechanicsburg, PA 17055.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to Hospice of Central PA in her honor.
