Diana L. Atchley, 72, of New Cumberland, passed away on Friday August 9, 2019 at Penn State Hersey Medical Center. Born on December 30, 1946 in Lemoyne, PA, she was the daughter of the late Monroe and Lavina (Brooks) Wrightstone, and she was the widow of John B. Atchley who passed away this past January. Diana was a 1964 graduate of Cedar Cliff High School. She was a retired auditor with AMP, Inc. She was a member of the Auxiliary at the American Legion Post 974, and a lifetime member of the Auxiliary at the Lower Allen VFW Post 7530. Diana loved spending time with her family, traveling, and visiting Casino's to play the slots. She was a very caring, loving, unselfish person who always put her family and friends first. She is survived by two daughters, Heather Atchley Swartz, of Etters, and Amy Michelle Atchley, of Etters; three sisters, Joyce Morrison, of Tennessee, Carol McCreary, of New Cumberland, and Wanda Gelbaugh, of Camp Hill; three grandchildren, William Swartz, III, Sydney Swartz, and Thomas Feeney; and many nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by a brother, Monroe Wrightstone, and a sister, Beverly Arnold. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Thursday August 15, 2019 in the Myers-Harner Funeral Home, 1903 Market St., Camp Hill. A visitation will be held in the funeral home from 6:00-8:00 P.M. on Wednesday August 14th and also on Thursday from 10:00 A.M. until the time of the service. Burial will be held following the service in Rolling Green Cemetery, Camp Hill.
