Daniel Keenan "Deke" Beck, 49, of Mechanicsburg, PA, passed away on Thursday, April 25, 2024, at Penn State Hershey Medical Center, Hershey, PA.

Born on May 10, 1974, in Camp Hill, PA, he was the son of James and Idana (Padjen) Beck.

Daniel was a 1992 graduate of Camp Hill High School where he was active on the soccer and track teams. After High School, Daniel attended Lycoming College and Indiana University of PA. He was a district manager for Health Care Services, overseeing the custodial care for various nursing facilities. Dan's first job at age 15 was working at the Camp Hill Movie Theater. Because of that, he was a big movie buff and could quote many movies, Caddyshack especially, verbatim. Dan was a loyal Philadelphia and Penn State sports fan. He loved watching the NFL draft. Daniel enjoyed participating in the Beck family fantasy football league. He loved going crabbing in Avalon, NJ, golfing, cooking, and camping. Above all, he loved to spend time with his children; they were his biggest joy in life. He had a good heart, great sense of humor, and was a good friend to all who knew him.

He is survived by his parents, James and Idana (Padjen) Beck, his children, Braden S. Beck and Kylie R. Beck and their Mother Stacy. Four brothers, Aaron Beck and his wife Cathy, Derek Beck and his wife Tiffany, Nathan Beck, and Devon Beck and his wife Lauren.

A visitation/service will be held on Friday, May 10, 2024 from 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM at the Myers-Baker Funeral & Cremation Services, 1903 Market Street, Camp Hill, PA 17011. Burial will be private and at the convenience of the family.
