Clarence T. Berner, 87, died Tuesday, January 27, 2015, in Camp Hill. He was retired from the Pennsylvania Department of Education. Formerly, he was a sixth grade teacher in the Camp Hill School District. Surviving are his wife of 63 years, Phoebe E. Berner; daughter Marcia L. Berner and husband Charles Dallas of Philadelphia; daughter Louise A. Berner and husband Phillip Tong of San Luis Obispo, CA; and grandchildren Andy and Emily Tong. He was predeceased by his parents, Gussie T. and Clarence E. Berner, and a brother, David T. Berner. In accordance with Ben's wishes, cremation is being arranged by the Myers-Harner Funeral Home, and there will be no services. Burial in the Camp Hill Cemetery will be held at the convenience of the family.
