Charles Robert "Bob" Hanna, 75, of Camp Hill, PA, passed away on Wednesday, April 1, 2026, at Holy Spirit Hospital.

He was born on August 14, 1950, in York, PA, the son of the late John and Naomi (Wright) Hanna.

Bob graduated from Kennard-Dale High School, received his bachelor's degree from Millersville University, and received his master's degree from Shippensburg State College. He retired as a middle school mathematics teacher at Northern York Middle School. Bob was a member of the Ridgeway Community Church in Harrisburg where he served as the church treasurer and sang in the choir. He was an avid bowler, followed the Baltimore Orioles, but his greatest joy was watching his grandchildren at their concerts and sporting events.

He is survived by his loving wife Dolores Hanna with whom he shared almost 53 years of marriage; a daughter Ashley Johnson and her husband Austin of Gettysburg, PA and their children Lily and Avery; a son Christopher Hanna and his wife Brittni of Gettysburg, PA and their children Brielle and Jace; and a sister Betty Carter of Felton, PA.

In addition to his parents, Bob was preceded in death by a niece Melissa Carter and a brother-in-law Bob Carter.

A viewing will be held from 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. on Thursday, April 9, 2026, at the Myers-Baker Funeral Home, 1903 Market St, Camp Hill, PA.

Funeral Services will be held at 1:30 P.M. on Friday, April 10, 2026, at the Ridgeway Community Church, 525 N. Progress Avenue, Harrisburg, PA 17109, with Rev. Enten Eller officiating. An additional viewing will be held in the church on Friday from 1:00 P.M. until the start of the service.

Burial will be held in Rolling Green Cemetery, Camp Hill, PA
