June 3, 1930 to April 5, 2019

Charles was born and raised in Lewistown, Pennsylvania. Everyone there knew him as
"Sonny". He entered the Army soon after graduating from high school. His service to his
country included combat in the Korean War, 25 years as a Sergeant in the Army, and 17 years as a military contractor at Letterkenny Army Depot.

Charles was happily married for 63 years to his beautiful German girl Helga. They raised 3
children Michael, Kelley, and Marc. They spoiled 2 grandchildren Chad and Marc Jr.
Charles enjoyed traveling all over the world. He loved his family and his pets. He had a
good, long, healthy life. He shared his humor with friends and strangers and usually had a
smile on his face.

Rest in Peace. Say hello to God for us.
