Bruce E. Stauffer, 86, of Mechanicsburg, met Jesus in Heaven Thursday, June 17, 2020 at Artis Senior Living of West Shore, Camp Hill. Born January 3, 1934 in Ringtown, PA he was the son of the late Ernest and Alvina (Horne) Stauffer. Bruce served his country in the US Army. Bruce attended Penn State University where he received his Engineering degree. Bruce worked as a Civil Engineer until his retirement. After his retirement he went on to become a Realtor. Bruce enjoyed watching baseball in his free time. Surviving is his loving wife of 25 years, Tina M. (Ullrich) Stauffer, of Mechanicsburg; his daughter Kelly Merrill and her husband William of Milwaukie, WI; and their children Grant and Pierce Merrill; step-sons Brandon and Ryan Bernhisel; and step-grandchildren Cody and Tory Bernhisel. A Memorial Service to celebrate Bruce's life is being planned at Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church, Camp Hill for a date and time when restrictions allow. Everyone who met Bruce liked him. He was a great husband, father, and friend. A treasure on Earth. In lieu of flowers the family request donations be made in Bruce's honor to a charity of your choice.
