Blanche H. Atchley, 93, of Camp Hill, passed away on Sunday April 10, 2016 at Messiah Lifeways, Mechanicsburg. Born on February 28, 1923 in Lowell, MA, she was the daughter of the late Adam and Stasia Chawziuk, and she was the widow of Aubryn Atchley. Blanche was a graduate of Lowell High School, MA, and Lowell Business School. She has been a member of the Church of the Good Shepherd since its inception. She is survived by two sons: John Atchley and his wife Diana, of New Cumberland; Walter Atchley and his wife Catherine, of Burke, VA.; three daughters: Jill Shorter, of Plaistow, NH, Karen Mitchell and her husband John, of Brookhaven, and Gail Jackman and her husband, Dennis, of Wynnewood; a sister-in-law: Joan Chawziuk, of Hampton Beach, NH.; ten grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren. In addition to her husband she was preceded in death by her brother, Walter Chawziuk, and a grandson, Michael Adam Atchley. A mass of Christian burial will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Friday April 15, 2016 in the Church of the Good Shepherd, 3435 Trindle Rd., Camp Hill. A viewing will be held from 6:00 – 8:00 P.M. on Thursday in the Myers-Harner Funeral Home, 1903 Market St., Camp Hill, and also in the church on Friday from 10:00 A.M. until the time of the mass. Burial will be held in Rolling Green Cemetery, Camp Hill.
