Obituary

Betty A. Marinaro, 90, of Camp Hill and Melbourne Beach, FL, passed away peacefully at her home Wednesday August 10, 2016. Born November 12, 1925 in Berwick, PA, she was the daughter of the late Adam and Gussie Algatt, and widow of Joseph D. Marinaro. Betty was a graduate of Berwick High School, She had two college degrees. She retired as a computer programmer supervisor. She was a member of ORA Chapel in Melbourne Beach. She loved her children, Penn State Football, sewing, knitting, and crocheting. She was a master poker and bridge player. She loved painting in watercolors and working with ceramics. She was a great poet and an avid reader. She is survived by three children, Jan, Jill, and Hal and a granddaughter. A celebration of Betty's life will be held Saturday, August 20 at 1:00 in the Myers-Harner Funeral Home, 1903 Market St., Camp Hill, with the Rev. Anne Meyers officiating. www.myers-harner.com
