Bette Isele, 103, of Camp Hill, PA, passed away on Sunday, January 19, 2025, at VibraLife Senior Living Community, Mechanicsburg, PA. Born on January 4, 1922, in Philadelphia, PA, she was the daughter of the late Frank and Catherine (Reilly) Laws, and she was married to Robert D. Isele (Bob) for 68 years before his death in 2009. Bette was a homemaker, an excellent cook and hostess, an avid card and Farkle player, and loved her family. She attended all of the concerts in Washington D.C. to hear Bob play in the Marine Band and the National Symphony. Bette was a woman of faith that showed in her actions with every person she met. She supported her church and many charities. She is survived by a son, Robert Isele and his wife Juliet, of Arlington, VA, a daughter, Cathy Vaughn, of Tempe, AZ, a sister, Dorothy Forrey and her husband Bill, of Camp Hill, PA, five grandchildren, Alice and Megan Jones, both of Maryland, Michael Vaughn, of Arizona, and Robbie and Bridget Isele, of Arlington, VA, three great-grandchildren, Grant Jones, of Washington, D.C., Robert Jones, of Arizona, and Tori Wertin, of Maryland, and one great-great grandchild, Kathryn Joehlin, of Arizona. A mass of Christian burial will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Monday, January 27, 2025, in the Church of the Good Shepherd, 3435 Trindle Rd., Camp Hill, PA, with Rev. William Forrey as Celebrant. A viewing will be held in the church on Monday, from 10:00 A.M. until the time of mass. A reception will be held in the church following the mass. Burial will be held in Rolling Green Cemetery following the reception. Myers-Baker Funeral Cremation Services, Camp Hill, PA, has been entrusted with funeral arrangements. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to a charity of your choosing or Bethesda Missions.
