Obituary

Barbara Seaman born January 8, 1936, passed away peacefully on March 2, 2025. She was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother whose warmth and kindness touched the lives of all who knew her. Barbara attended the Crane School of Music in upstate New York, where she cultivated her lifelong passion for music. She especially loved singing in the church choir at Trinity Lutheran Church in Camp Hill, Pennsylvania, where she was a long-time devoted member. Her beautiful voice was a cherished part of the congregations worship for many years. Barbara married the love of her life, Raymond, on April 16, 1955, and they shared 62 wonderful years together. She found joy in sewing, gardening, singing, traveling, and caring for animals, always offering her talents and compassion to those around her. Barbara was predeceased by her parents, her beloved husband Raymond, her daughter Laura Gayman and her sister Charlotte Ortiz. She is survived by her son, David Seaman (Marlene), daughter, Suzanne Baird (Sean), seven grandchildren, and twelve great-grandchildren, all of whom will carry her memory in their hearts. Her legacy of love, faith, and music will live on in the many lives she touched. A service to celebrate Barbaras life will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Saturday, March 8, 2025, in the Myers-Baker Funeral Home, 1903 Market St., Camp Hill, PA, where friends and family will gather to honor her remarkable life. A viewing will be held in the funeral home on Saturday from 10:00 A.M. until the time of the service. Burial will be held following the service in Rolling Green Cemetery, Camp Hill, PA. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Mollyrsquos Place Rescue, P.O. Box 328, Mechanicsburg, PA 17055, in her memory.
