Barbara A. O'Gorek, 78, of Camp Hill, PA, passed away Friday, March 15, 2019 at Spring Creek Rehabilitation Center surrounded by her loving family.
Born January 29, 1941, in Pottsville, PA she is the daughter of the late Joseph and Antoinette (Veleska) O'Gorek.
After high school Barbara went on to college and graduated with her Master's in education. She taught in the public-school system both in Philadelphia, PA and Harrisburg, PA for over 40 years. She was a member of the Church of the Good Shepherd where she volunteered her time teaching the CCD classes, she was also a member of the Women's Marian Prayer Group.
Barbara is survived by her cousins Tom Doyle, of Camp Hill, PA; Mary Berkley of Stuart, FL; Jeanette Claus of Palm City, Fl; Josephine Petersen of Duncannon, Pa.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, March 30, 2019 at 11:00 am at The Church of the Good Shepherd, 3435 E. Trindle Rd., Camp Hill. Visitation will be held at the church on Saturday from 10:00 A.M. until the time of the service. Private burial will take place at the convenience of the family in Scared Heart of Jesus, Williamstown, PA.
