Obituary

Arlene R. Corso, 84, of New Cumberland, PA, passed away on Sunday, January 17, 2016 at her home. Born on October 22, 1931 in Oceanside, NY, she was the daughter of the late Norman W. and Rose M. (Langer) Keith. Before having children, she had worked for Bell Telephone after which she devoted herself to being a full-time mother. After her children were grown, she returned to college at age 48 and graduated from Marist College in Poughkeepsie, NY. She was a member of Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church, Camp Hill. She knitted prayer shawls for the church and worked in the church library. She was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star. Arlene is survived by her daughter, Alice J. Seideneck and her husband Paul Jr., of Etters, PA, son, Keith F. Corso and his wife Sally, of Girard, OH, and daughter, Audrey A. Nerney, of NY, ten grandchildren: Ryan, Beth, Christopher, Katie, Nicholas, Patrick, Timmy, Michael, Adam, and Mark, and one great granddaughter, Emma. She was preceded in death by her brother, William Keith Arlene was a beloved and dedicated mother, and a wonderful and kind mother-in-law. She was an encouraging and loving mom, grandmother, and a devoted caring friend. She loved life and lived it to the fullest. She will be deeply missed and will remain in our hearts forever. A memorial service will be held at 1:00 P.M. on Friday January 29, 2016 at Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church, 2000 Chestnut St., Camp Hill, with Pastor Jack Horner officiating. Interment will follow the service in the Church Columbarium. Myers-Harner Funeral & Cremation Services, 1903 Market St., Camp Hill, is handling funeral arrangements.
