Arlene S. Butler, 74, of Mechanicsburg, passed away on Saturday May 28, 2016 at Pinnacle Health-West Shore Hospital. Born on July 28, 1941 in Williamsport, she was the daughter of the late Doyle and Eleanor (Fritz) Bodle. Arlene was a member of the West Shore Baptist Church in Camp Hill. She loved spending time with her family and taking care of children. She is survived by her husband of 53 years, Donald Butler, of Mechanicsburg; her three sons: Tim, Dan, and Jerrie Butler; one brother, Doyle Bodle; and four grandchildren. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Saturday June 4, 2016 at the West Shore Baptist Church, 2025 Market St., Camp Hill, with Pastor Gary R. Bruland officiating. A visitation with Arlene's family will be held in the church on Saturday from 10:00 A.M. until the time of the service. Myers-Harner Funeral & Cremation Services, Camp Hill, is handling funeral arrangements. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to a charity of your choosing.
