Anna Katrina Puzuks, 98, of Mechanicsburg, passed away peacefully on Monday July 24, 2017.
Born in Cesvaine, Latvia on March 30,1919, Anna was the daughter of the late Julijs and Anna Abolins and the widow of Arvids Puzuks.
Anna and Arvids immigrated to the United States in 1949 in search of freedom for their family. While they maintained a great love for Latvia, they made a life in the United States raising their family and operating a greenhouse in Hummelstown for 35 years. Anna was a loving homemaker, caring gardener, and wonderful cook.
She is survived by two daughters, Liga Neely (John), of Harrisburg, Inez Snyder (Joseph), of Mechanicsburg, and one granddaughter, Ilsa K. Snyder, of Mechancisburg, and many nieces and nephews in Latvia.
There will be no public service; burial will be at the convenience of the family. Funeral arrangements are being handled by Myers-Harner Funeral & Cremation Services, Camp Hill.
