Anna May Wood Kinsinger, age 91, returned to the Lord on March 18, 2016. Born on December 16, 1924 in Erie, PA, Ann was the fifth of 5 siblings born to Edward and Mabel Wood. She lived in Erie through her high school graduation. In December 1942 she married Fredrick Lee Kinsinger, at that time a Lt. In the U.S. Army. Their life in the military took them all over the eastern USA. In 1960 they moved with their three children, Fredrick II, Carol, and Deborah, to Camp Hill, PA. Before his death in 2003, Ann and Fred had been married 62 years. Ann attended HACC from 1965 to 1968 and then completed a BS in Education and Art from Shippensburg State College in 1973. She then taught at Discovery School in Camp Hill until she and Fred retired in 1983. Ann was an active member of Camp Hill Presbyterian Church for 40 years. A skilled artist, Ann derived much pleasure from painting in oils and watercolors and taught painting classes for many years. After Fred's passing, Ann moved to Bethany Village, where she taught an art class, served on several committees, and participated in a variety of activities. She lived at Bethany Village until her passing. Her greatest joys in the later years were her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Ann will be missed by many for her dedication to family, and for her friendliness, caring, and kindness. She is survived by her 3 children, Fred in Ohio, Carol in Oregon, Deborah in Canada and by her 5 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. A memorial service will be held at Bethany Village at a later date.
