G. Ann (Neese) Wade, 97, of Camp Hill, PA passed away on Monday, December 1, 2025, at Penn State Health-Holy Spirit Hospital.
Born February 16, 1928, in New Orleans, LA, she was the daughter of the late Arthur Maynard Neese and Myrtis Alberta (Cannon) Neese. She married John S. Wade, Jr.; he preceded her in death on January 31, 2002
.
Ann earned her Bachelor of Science degree in education from Peabody College in Nashville, TN. After graduation from college, Ann was a teacher until she married. She continued her career as a substitute teacher, while raising her family.
She was a member of the Eberly's Mill Church of God, the Highland Womans Club, the Faculty Womans Club at Penn State University branch in Middletown, PA, The Civil War Roundtable, Timberwolves for WWII veterans, and was a tour guide at the Peace Church. She enjoyed crafts, sewing, quilting, sailing and hiking, and especially spending time with her family.
She is survived by her four children John S. Wade and his wife Sherry, James A. Wade and his wife Helen, Robert D. Wade, and Margaret Ann Boehm, six grandchildren Jason Boehm, Kimberly Layman and her husband Justin, Heather Howard and her husband Andrew, Anita Griffith and her husband Cody, James T. Wade and his wife Sierra, and Virginia R. Wade, and by nine great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents and her husband, she was preceded in death by a sister Helen Hitch.
The memorial service will be held on Saturday, April 25, 2026, at 11 AM at the Eberly's Mill Church of God, 115 Creek Road, Camp Hill, PA 17011. A visitation will be held from 10 AM until the time of the service in the church.
Burial will be held privately.
