It's with heavy hearts that we bid our beloved Ann Marie Eissler, 92, farewell.

Ann is preceded in death by her husband Howard "Lucky" Eissler and her sister Mary Jane (Connor) Ryan and brother William "Bill" Connor.

Ann is survived by her sister (Sister Francis (Margie Connor)), her sister-in-law (Trudy Connor), children (Karean, Chip and his wife Christie, Bill, and Annie), grandchildren (Luke, Matt, Nick, and Michael), nieces (Clare (Ryan) Wydeven, Carol (Ryan) Livingood, and Deborah (Connor) Juarez), and grandnieces (Grace Wydeven, Emma Wydeven, Lucy Wydeven, Nora Livingood, Mary Livingood, and Anika Juarez).

Ann was a visionary of what could be and the possibilities beyond what was around her. She was in the second graduating class of Gwynedd Mercy College. She had a frontier spirit and leaves a legacy of truly remarkable stories of her careers as medical secretary for director of cardiology at Bryn Mawr hospital, a stewardess for United Airlines, a 20-year career as an RN in various aspects of nursing, and her travels around the world.

Ann understood life was a journey that you take on your own, but she also knew it was a lot more fun with friends and loved ones. So, she was always trying to recruit others into her adventures. She brought friends and family on whirlwind trips (Rome, Israel, Mexico, Portugal, etc.) Even from the little things of just sharing food at your favorite restaurant to bridge club in the neighborhood, local trips with the Red Hat group, activities and excursions with her church groups at Good Shepherd, recruiting friends at her assisted living just to watch movies, she always made it special and fun and all about being surrounded by love.

Ann began her journey in the Philadelphia area. She left Philadelphia for a glamourous career in the airlines but created most of her fondest memories with her family in Camp Hill and up at Lake Mokoma. Her greatest joy were her grandchildren. She ended her journey back in the Philadelphia area where she rekindled her dancing spirit and was never short of dance partners at Brandywine.

Ann loved the community in Camp Hill, especially the kids she watched grow up. She felt like they were her own. She was greatly loved by the Camp Hill community. Ann was a force of nature who will be sadly missed.

A mass of Christian burial will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Tuesday, July 16, 2024, in the Church of the Good Shepherd, 3435 Trindle Rd., Camp Hill, PA, with Rev. Neil S. Sullivan as Celebrant. A viewing will be held in the church on Tuesday from 10:00 A.M. until the time of the mass. A reception will be held in the church fellowship hall immediately following the mass. Myers-Baker Funeral & Cremation Services, Camp Hill, has been entrusted with funeral arrangements.
