Obituary

Allen Wayne Pechart, 64, of York, PA, passed away on Wednesday January 8, 2020 at Geisinger Holy Spirit Hospital, Camp Hill, PA.
Born on April 19, 1955 in Mechanicsburg, PA, he is the son of the late Edward Que and Erla Jeanette (Simmons) Pechart.
Allen was a US Marine Corps Veteran who served during the Vietnam War. He was a Forklift operator for BWAY Corp. in York, PA.
Allen is survived by five brothers, Terry Pechart and his wife Joanne, of Mechanicsburg, PA; David Pechart and his wife Diane, of Camp Hill, PA; Gary Pechart and his wife Kay, of Camp Hill, PA; Jeff Pechart and his wife Sherree, of Mechanicsburg, PA; and Rodney Pechart and his wife Nancy, of Florida; three sisters, Linda Bottoms, of North Carolina; Carol Rogers of Pennsylvania; and Teresa Heasley, of North Carolina; a niece, Tanya Hossler and her husband Troy, of Mechanicsburg, PA; 18 additional nieces and nephews, and 23 great nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three stepbrothers, Billy Pechart, Donald Pechart and Bobby Simmons; and a sister, Sheila Pechart.
A graveside service with military honors will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Thursday January 16, 2020 at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Indiantown Gap Rd., Annville, PA, with Rev. Keith Searfoss officiating.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, Rt. 422 & Sipe Ave., Hershey, PA 17033

Floral orders should be sent to the funeral home Thursday January 16, 2020 by 10:00 A.M.
