Alice L. Souder, 93, of Hampden Twp., passed away on Monday August 10, 2015 at her home. She was born on June 24, 1922 in Mainesburg, PA, a daughter of the late Eugene B. and Irene F. (Smith) English. She grew up in Wellsboro, PA, a graduate of Wellsboro High School, Class of 1940. Alice was the owner of Souder Tax Service and taught bridge in the Harrisburg area for over thirty years. She was a member of Camp Hill United Methodist Church, a member and past President of Harrisburg Bridge Club, past President of Camp Hill Junior Civic Club, member and past President of district four of the American Contract Bridge League, member of the Civic Club of Harrisburg. She was preceded in death by her husband of 59 years, L. Donald Souder, who passed away in 2005. She is survived by a daughter, Sandra S. Glotfelter, of East Pennsboro Twp., a son, David E. Souder and wife Tracy of Salisbury, MD, two grandsons, Michael E. Glotfelter, of Shermans Dale, and Christopher R. Glotfelter, of London, England. She is also survived by a sister, Wilma E. Wieand, of Allentown, and a very dear friend E. Briner Ashway. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 A.M. on Friday August 14, 2015 at Camp Hill United Methodist Church, 417 South 22nd St. Camp Hill, PA 17011, with Pastor Jack Grove officiating. A visitation will be held in the church on Friday from 9:00 A.M. until the time of the service. Burial will follow in Rolling Green Cemetery, Camp Hill.
