Adam S.
Kane
Dec 13, 1970 — Jun 18, 2025
Adam S. Kane, 54, of Mechanicsburg, PA, passed away on Wednesday, June 18, 2025.
Adam was born December 13, 1970, in Erie, PA, the son of the late Joseph Kane and Grace (Baker) Kane. He was married to Jennifer Lynn (Snyder) Kane.
He graduated from DuBois Central Christian High School and received his degree from Pennsylvania College of Technology. He initially worked in retail management but later became a self-employed carpenter and the owner/manager of their rental business. He was able to partner his hobby with his work and provided his customers with beautiful finishes for their homes. His rental business grew because of his ability to find and repair houses.
Adam was a member of the Rotary Club of Mechanicsburg-North, and as a family, they had hosted numerous international exchange students. He had used his carpentry skills on habitat projects through Rotary and in New Orleans following hurricane Katrina. Adam was an avid wood worker, loved his wood shop and would openly share his tools and knowledge with anyone who wanted to learn. He was also an avid hunter and fisherman who loved going hunting and had enjoyed taking his sons on several hunting and fishing trips.
Adam is survived by his wife Jennifer Lynn Kane, two sons Matthew Kane and Morgan Kane, a daughter Megan Kane, all of Mechanicsburg, PA; a brother Pat Kane of Clearfield, PA; a sister Erin Kane Ager and her husband Eric of Johnstown, PA; his mother-in-law Fae R. Snyder of Camp Hill, PA; numerous nieces and nephews, and his dogs Tank and Kirby.
He is remembered most for his love of his family and dedication to his children, who he supported unconditionally. He met his life challenges with a great sense of humor, a little sarcasm, and a fabulous work ethic. He was very grateful for all of his close friends who worked with him, hunted with him, and provided him support over these last few years.
A Celebration of Adam's Life will take place on Sunday, July 6, 2025, from 1:00 P.M. to 3:00 P.M. at the Kane residence, Mechanicsburg, PA.
The family suggests that memorial contributions be made to the family, for a memorial bench, to be placed in the Vincent DiFilippo Nature Preserve, Sample Bridge Road, Mechanicsburg.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the Myers-Baker Funeral Home, 1903 Market Street, Camp Hill, PA 17011
